Terms & Conditions
Tickets, Registration, and Contract Formation
1.1 All attendees must register for the Event in advance through the official ticketing and registration channel designated by Junior Enterprises Global, “JE Global”, “the Organiser”.
1.2 By purchasing a ticket and submitting a registration, the attendee enters into a binding contract with the Organiser under these Terms and Conditions (constantly available at juniorenterprises.org/jewc-tcs) or for download by contacting JE Global once payment has been confirmed.
1.3 Attendees are required to provide accurate, complete, and up to date information during registration, including any information reasonably required for badge issuance, access control, invoicing, or participation administration.
1.4 Tickets are valid only for the individual named in the registration. Name changes, substitutions, or transfers are permitted only if expressly allowed by the Organiser and completed in accordance with the Organiser’s stated process and deadlines.
1.5 The Organiser reserves the right to deny admission or cancel a ticket, without further notice, where registration information is materially incorrect, payment is disputed or reversed, or admission is required to be refused for legal, security, or safety reasons.
Cancellation by Attendee, Refunds, and Withdrawal Rights
2.1 Tickets relate to leisure services provided on a specific date or within a specific period. To the extent permitted under applicable law, the statutory withdrawal rights do not apply to ticket purchases for the Event.
2.2 Unless the Organiser explicitly states otherwise, any booking fees, payment processing fees, and service charges are non refundable, even where a refund of the ticket price is granted.
2.3 Visa refusal, travel disruption, personal scheduling conflicts, and accommodation issues do not entitle the attendee to a refund unless the Organiser explicitly confirms an exception in writing.
2.4 Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method wherever possible. The Organiser is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment providers, or currency conversion processes.
Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Insurance
3.1 Attendance and participation in the Event, including any side events, social programme, and related activities, is at the attendee’s own risk.
3.2 The Organiser is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property, including but not limited to passports, devices, luggage, or valuables, whether occurring at the venue or in any associated premises. The organiser strongly encourages to abstain from travelling with luxury items.
3.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organiser shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, reputational loss, or travel and accommodation costs.
3.4 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability to the extent it cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for wilful misconduct or gross negligence where such limitation is prohibited.
3.5 Attendees are strongly advised to obtain adequate travel, medical, and cancellation insurance for the duration of their participation in the Event and any related travel.
Programme Changes, Speaker Changes, and Access
4.1 The Event programme is subject to change. The Organiser may amend the agenda, content, timings, session formats, speakers, moderators, venues within the host city, and the overall running order where reasonably required for operational, safety, or quality reasons.
4.2 The Organiser does not guarantee the attendance, participation, or presentation of any particular speaker, panellist, or contributor. The substitution or cancellation of individual speakers or sessions does not entitle the attendee to a refund.
4.3 Entry to certain sessions, workshops, or venues may be capacity limited, controlled by ticket type, subject to pre registration, or otherwise restricted. Access is granted on a first come, first served basis unless stated otherwise by the Organiser.
4.4 The Organiser may introduce reasonable operational rules for access, queuing, badge checks, and crowd management. Attendees must comply with instructions from Organiser staff, venue staff, and security at all times.
Event Cancellation by the Organiser and Force Majeure
5.1 The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, or materially modify the Event where this becomes necessary due to circumstances beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of government, public health emergencies, strikes, civil disorder, venue closure, supplier failure, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.
5.2 Where the Event is cancelled by the Organiser, the Organiser may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law, offer either a refund of the ticket price, a credit towards a rescheduled event, or a ticket roll over. Unless the Organiser expressly states otherwise, booking fees and payment processing fees remain non refundable.
5.3 The Organiser is not liable for any costs incurred by the attendee in connection with the Event, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, visas, insurance, or related expenses, regardless of whether the Event is cancelled, postponed, or modified.
5.4 Where the Event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets may remain valid for the new date, subject to the Organiser’s instructions. The attendee remains responsible for any personal scheduling, travel, or accommodation adjustments.
Conduct, Safety, and Right of Removal
6.1 All attendees are expected to behave in a professional, respectful, and lawful manner throughout the Event, including during official sessions, social programme elements, and any venue based activities.
6.2 The Organiser may refuse admission, remove an attendee from the Event, and or withdraw the attendee’s badge where the attendee breaches these Terms, disrupts the Event, endangers others, fails to comply with safety or security instructions, or otherwise acts in a manner the Organiser reasonably considers inappropriate. In such cases, no refund is due.
6.3 Attendees must comply with all applicable laws and all venue rules, including any restrictions on prohibited items, security screening, emergency procedures, and health and safety requirements.
6.4 The Organiser is entitled to take any reasonable action required to protect attendees, staff, speakers, sponsors, and partners, including contacting venue security or local authorities where appropriate.
Travel, Accommodation, and Visas
7.1 Attendance at the Event is conditional upon the attendee arranging, at their own cost and risk, all travel, accommodation, passports, visas, vaccinations, insurance, and any other requirements necessary to enter and remain in the host country and to participate in the Event (where certain of these services are provided as offered by the Organiser, the respective responsibility of the ateendee in the aforementioned areas ceases with the Organiser taking on reasonable responsibilities).
7.2 The Organiser is not responsible for any costs, losses, or consequences arising from travel disruption, accommodation issues, border control decisions, visa delays, or visa refusals.
7.3 Where the Organiser offers visa support documentation, including invitation letters, such documentation is provided solely as an administrative support measure and does not constitute a guarantee of visa issuance, entry clearance, or permission to travel.
7.4 Unless the Organiser explicitly states otherwise in writing, visa refusal or delayed visa issuance does not entitle the attendee to a refund.
Photography, Filming, and Use of Image
8.1 The Event may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded by the Organiser and or its appointed service providers for documentation, communication, reporting, and promotional purposes, including publication on the Organiser’s websites, social media channels, and official materials.
8.2 By attending the Event, the attendee acknowledges that they may appear in such recordings and grants the Organiser permission to use their image and likeness for the purposes stated in clause 8.1, subject to applicable law.
8.3 Where a reasonable opt out mechanism is offered by the Organiser, the attendee is responsible for making their objection known in accordance with the Organiser’s instructions. The Organiser will make reasonable efforts to respect such objections but cannot guarantee exclusion from all background capture in crowded spaces.
8.4 The Organiser may restrict or prohibit attendee recording in certain sessions or areas, including where required by speakers, partners, venue rules, or confidentiality arrangements. Attendees must comply with any signage and staff instructions.
Data Protection and Privacy
9.1 The Organiser processes personal data for the purposes of administering ticket sales, registration, access control, communications, safety, and delivery of the Event.
9.2 The Organiser may share personal data with service providers strictly to the extent necessary to operate the Event, including ticketing and payment providers, badge printing and access control services, venue operators, and technical platform providers.
9.3 Where the attendee provides dietary requirements, accessibility information, or other special requirements, the attendee acknowledges that such data may be processed to facilitate reasonable arrangements and may be shared with relevant service providers where necessary for fulfilment.
9.4 Further information on how personal data is processed, stored, and retained, including applicable rights under data protection law, is set out in the Organiser’s privacy notice, as published through the Organiser’s official channels.
Intellectual Property, Conference Materials, and Attendee Recording
10.1 All intellectual property rights in the Event, including but not limited to the Event name, branding, logos, website content, programme structure, and official materials, remain the property of the Organiser and or its licensors.
10.2 Presentations, workshops, and speaker materials remain the intellectual property of the respective speakers and or rights holders. The attendee may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or commercially exploit such materials without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder.
10.3 The Organiser may provide access to certain materials after the Event at its discretion. Where access is provided, it is granted for personal, non commercial use only, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
10.4 The Organiser may restrict or prohibit audio recording, video recording, photography, or live streaming by attendees in specific sessions or areas. Any restriction communicated through signage, announcements, ticket type rules, or staff instructions is binding.
Marketing Communications
11.1 The Organiser may contact attendees with practical information required for Event delivery, including operational updates, access instructions, programme information, and safety notices. Such communications form part of the Event administration.
11.2 Where the Organiser offers optional marketing communications, including newsletters or future Event updates, such communications will be sent only where the attendee has opted in or where otherwise permitted under applicable law.
11.3 Attendees may withdraw from optional marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism provided or by contacting the Organiser through its published contact channel.
Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Miscellaneous
12.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Organiser’s country of registration (France), and any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Organiser’s registered seat at Rue du Croissant 11, 75002 Paris, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to the attendee.
12.2 If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
12.3 The Organiser may update these Terms where reasonably required for legal, security, or operational reasons. The version applicable to the attendee is the version in force at the time of ticket purchase, unless a change is required by law or is necessary to protect the safety and orderly running of the Event.
12.4 Failure by the Organiser to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
Any inquiries are to be sent through the appropriate contact form.
